Next Truss settings

Field Descriptions
Setting Description

Fill Side

Side in which trusses are placed from a reference line when placing individual or groups of trusses. Choices are:

  • Center (placed centered on reference line)
  • Dir of (pulled to the same side as selected)
  • Opposite (pulled to the opposite side as selected)

Num Plys - First Truss

Ply count of the first truss in the run of trusses to the default value

Num Plys - Last Truss

Ply count of the last truss in the run of trusses to the default value

Num Plys - All Other

Ply count of the all trusses in the middle of the run of trusses to the default value

Flat Truss Depth

Creates a run of trusses with a flat top chord with specified depth from this value

Flat Truss Elev

Used with Flat truss depth to hold bottom chord at specified plate height. This can be used to create a box girder above plate height.

Flat Truss Name

Sets flat truss name default to Truss, Header, or Beam

Is first truss a girder?

Sets first truss in the run to a girder

Is last truss a girder?

Sets last truss in the run to a girder

Are other trusses girders?

Sets trusses in between first and last truss to a girder
